SSC Cracker is a free practice app for SSC-style exams. It is run by Mom (the “owner”). This page explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not ask for your name, phone number or e-mail. The app does not collect personal information. It only sends anonymous usage counts, described below.
What is stored on your device
Your practice results, levels and stars, mistakes, bookmarks, test history and settings are saved only in your own browser or phone storage (localStorage). They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using “Reset progress” inside the app, deletes them. The app has no backup, export or import feature for your progress, notes or planner: nothing is uploaded and no backup file can be loaded into the app.
Diary downloads (PDF and TXT)
In Planner → Download you can save a diary entry for one date as a PDF or TXT file, or save your whole diary as one PDF. These files are created inside your own browser and saved to your device’s Downloads folder. They are never uploaded to us. They contain what you wrote, so keep them somewhere safe and be careful before sharing them. They are for reading and printing only: the app cannot import them back, and we cannot recover your diary for you if your device data is cleared.
Security
The app is served only over secure HTTPS. It has no accounts, passwords or sign-in for students, and it does not read or run files that you give it, so there is no file for anyone to tamper with. The pages use strict browser security rules (a Content Security Policy) that block scripts from other websites, and the app cannot be shown inside another website. The owner’s dashboard is password-protected, limits wrong password tries, and shows anonymous counts only. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure; if you find a security problem, please e-mail the owner.
Hosting and technical logs
The app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any website, the hosting service may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure. The owner does not use this to identify you. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Anonymous usage counts
So the owner can see how many devices use the app, the app stores a random code on your device (not linked to your name, phone, e-mail or practice results) and sends it, with the type of visit (website visit, installed app opened, app installed), when you open the app. The owner sees only totals and daily counts. Clearing your browser data creates a new random code.
Advertising and tracking
At the moment the app shows no advertisements and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. If advertising or analytics are added in future, this page will be updated first to say which provider is used, what data it may collect (for example, advertising identifiers or cookies) and how to opt out.
Internet use and device storage
SSC Cracker is an online app: it needs WiFi or mobile data to open and run, and it shows “Connection lost” when there is no internet. The app does not save its own files for offline use, so it downloads them each time you open it (a few MB of data, paid from your own data plan or WiFi).
The app runs on your own phone, tablet or laptop, using its battery and processor. Your levels, scores, diary, planner and revision notes are saved only in your device's own storage and are never uploaded.
The only thing sent to our server is an anonymous usage count: a random device code and a short event name such as “visit”, “open” or “install”. It contains no name, phone number, e-mail, scores, diary, notes or other personal data.
Children
The app is meant for exam students. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Questions are original
Practice questions are created by the app for practice purposes and are not copied from official papers. The app is an independent practice tool. Exam patterns shown in the app come from public information and can change, so please always confirm on the official SSC website.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
